Damage to #14 fwy

FYI. Here's a couple pics. On our morning rounds we found someone had done some donuts on our fwy. They must have came from back burm Rd.

 I've had my locks on the gate of the hiway cut 6 times this year. The reason I lock it is for reasons like this. 

 I will look into some how. Securing the gate better. 

My crew worked hard on the repair. This morning We pushed all the sod back over and cover with sand. Should be back to normal  in a week.

Ashtrays

The ashtrays have arrived. :). Pls if you are a smoker take an ashtray with you in your cart every time you golf.

#4 Tee

With the amount of divots taken from the # 4 tee deck and it being so narrow. 

I've decided to widen it so we can get double the amount of placements. Which will allow the grass to recover before we play that placement again.

New Flags,poles and cups

Well today is the day sorry for the delay. On the new flags. But my supplier shipped the wrong size pole. So for now we will use the old white poles. In the back 9 till the new ones get here.

Snow

Good morning members. Here's a quick update on the snow cover were revived yesterday. The course is still under a little bit of snow cover. So be sure to call pro shop to get your updated tee time.

Open update

Well one more day till we open the 2016 golf season. 

Here is a sneak peak at the new flags hope they are more visible then the last bunch. FYI  I won't be putting them out till mid May. 

As for the golf course itself we didn't over winter as well as I'd would have hoped, we had a perfect winter to develop snow mouldy Greens 5,6,7,9. Were hit the worst as you will see tomorrow or When ever you are out playing. 

Myself and the crew have worked hard overseeding, verticutticutting spiking all the greens and have tarped the bad ones back up till we open. 

We will still open on full greens just have patience with us as we will be working on these greens over the next few weeks to get them back in great shape for the rest of the season.

Good Morning Members. I hope everyone has had a good winter. I will be posting on my blog a lot more this year to keep membership informed of any course maintenance that will be coming up. Hope to see most of you out this weekend to hit a few balls around. I will also open the chipping green and putting green so you can work on your short game as well.
